Notlar Ms. codex.Title from fol. 1a.25 lines per page. Written in small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Foliation in Western numerals in pencil. Glazed European paper. Fol. 261b contains a paragraph, in the same hand as the main text, in the praise of Ibn al-ʻArabī, written by Aḥmad bin Sulaymān bin Kamāl (the copyist?). Title on fol. 1a is signed in different hand: ("katabahu") ʻAbd al-Raḥmān in the month of Rabīʻ al-Ākhir 1089 (1678). Two short inscriptions in Ottoman on fol. 1a. Two ownership statements on the same fol., one in the name of Aḥmad "al-mudarris li-madrasat Ibrāhīm", and the other in the name of Luṭf Allāh bin Yaʻqūb.Incipit: الحمد لله الذى عين الاعيان بفيضه الاقدس الاقدم ... وبعد يقول ... داود بن محمود بن محمد القيصرى ... لما وقفنى الله تع وكشف على انوار اسرارهExplicit: والله يقول الحق بلسان الكاملين ويهدى سبيله للمتوجهين اليه والطالبين وهو الموفق الى الرشاد ومنه المبداء واليه المعاد وهذا اخر ما اردنا بيانه والحمد لله على التوفيق والشكر لولى الحقايق والتحقيق تم الكتاب الشريف بقدرة الكريم اللطيف تم - Brown mottled paper over pasteboard with leather on spine. Pastedowns in light purple paper (original in cream paper). One flyleaf at the front in light cream paper. Label on spine: "Taṣawwuf 55". - Commentary on Ibn al-ʻArabī's Fuṣūṣ al-ḥikam, with an introduction in 12 chapters which is sometimes found on its own and treated as a separate work under the title Maṭlaʻ khuṣūṣ al-kilam fī maʻānī Fuṣūṣ al-ḥikam.
