It is likely that the author is Badr al-Dīn ibn Mālik, 686 [1287], the son of Jamāl al-Dīn ibn Mālik 600-672 [1203/4-1274].Collation: Paper ; fol. 19 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.Layout: 15 lines per page.Description: Rubricated ; some vowel signs ; several folios are tinted light brown ; MS in fair condition; several folios are foxed and mended. It appears that the edge of the MS was trimmed.Origin: According to colophon copied 17 Rabīʻ I 788 by Aḥmad ibn Aḥmad al-Ḥanafī (fol. 19b).Incipit: بسم الله ... الهادي من يشاء الى صراط مستقيمColophon: ... تم الکتاب بحمد العزيز الوهاب في سابع عشر شهر ربيع الاول سنة ثمان وثمانين وسبعمائة على يد العبد الفقيرالى الله تعالى احمد ابن احمد الحنفي عامله الله تع[الى] بلطفه الخفي وحسبنا الله ونعم - Later quarter-bound type III (without flap) binding in red leather and yellow paper with block-pressed design.
