Rubrication and catchwords. Some staining and mild insect damage; edges ragged. Most leaves are detached.Decoration: On fol. 1b, illuminated ʻunwān consisting of delicate gold foliar pattern on blue ground; text on fol. 1b-2a framed in gold. On fol. 392b, colophon is illuminated on either side with flowers in a variety of colors on gold ground.Incipit: الحمد لله ... شکر و منت اول الله اولسون که بو مخلوقات ىوغکن وار اتدى - Front cover missing; back cover is full brown leather over board with gold-stamped central mandorla and pendants; marbled paper doublure. Leather has mostly peeled away from board. - Translation of al-Ṭabarī's world history into Turkish from a Persian translation, by the order of the vizier Ahmet Paşa in the 16th century. This copy is complete through the reign of Nushirvan.
