Damp staining in outer and upper margins and some smudging. Last folio detached.Notes on inner covers and fol. 1a. After last folio are 40 pages from a printed combination Qurʾān and Persian tafsīr, unbound and heavily worn on the edges.Incipit: الحمد لله الذى انزل کلاماً الهياً وکتاباً سماوياً ... وبعد چنىن گوىد عبد عاصى وغرىق بحر معاصى الذى اذا خص لم ىعرف واذا غاب لم ىذکر احقر عباد الله [...] وقدراً واعظم عباد الله خطاء ومعصىة تراب اقلام الحاج والواعظىن احمد بن الحسن الىزدى الاصل والمشهدى المسکن - Full brown leather with stamped and tooled fillets. - Treatise on pre-Islamic prophets, consisting of a muqaddimah and 11 nahr; ms. breaks off in the middle of nahr 11. Contents as follows: 1) Ādam, 2) Idrīs, 3) Nūḥ, 4) Hūd, 5) Ṣāliḥ, 6) Ibrāhīm, 7) Lūṭ, 8) Dhū al-Qarnayn, 9) Yaʻqūb and Yūsuf, 10) Ayyūb, 11) Shuʻayb. The author lists his other works on fol. 1b.
