Notlar Ms. codex.Title from beginning of text (fol. 1b, l. 1-2).33 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. Dark cream paper with laid and chain lines visible. Illuminated first page on fol. 1a, wih a panel (192 x 109 mm.) divided in three uneven sections, with an upper panel filled with gold with black fillets border and corners filled with red, a small section left blank and a larger panel with a central circular gold medallion filled with gold and delineated by black lines, surrounded by eight small circular medallion in gold, blue and red with small circles around the edges, portions of circular motifs in blue, gold and red in the inner corners and in the middle of each border. Circular medallion in gold and red with small blue circles around the edges on the margin next to the upper panel. Collation notes and mentions of topics on the margins. Late piece of paper with recipes in Ottoman Turkish placed between fol. 16 and 17. Receipt in Ottoman Turkish issued from the Ministry of Finance by al-Sayyid Aḥmad Rashād for the Daftardār of Mawṣil (Mosul), dated 6 Rabīʻ al-Awwal 1321 [June 2, 1903] placed between fol. 121 and 122. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (with two fol. 167).Collation: Paper, fol. 350 ; 1-35¹⁰ ; catchword on the verso of each leaf.Incipit: لما انتهى قسم الاقوال من كتاب جمع الجوامع مرتبتا على حروف المعجم فى اول اللفظ النبوى اتبعته ببقية الاحاديث الخارجة عن هذه الشريطة وهى الفعلية المحضة ...مسند ابى بكر الصديق رضى الله عنه عن اسما بنت ابى بكر قالت رايت ابى يصلى فى ثوبExplicit: ق وقد رواه ايضا محمد بن زكريا الغلابي وهو متروك عن شعيب بن واقد عن ابان بن غمن(؟) فذكره باسناده ومعناه وروي باسناد آخر مجهول عن ابان بن ثعلب انتهى - Brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers. Both covers have a central panel delineated by gold fillets and blind tooled patterns, with a stamped central mandorla with two pendants on the vertical axis and corner pieces. - Second qism of the Jamʻ al-jawāmiʻ or al-Jāmiʻ al-kabīr, containing the musnads of the Companions.
