Notlar Ms. codex.Title from preamble (fol. 1b, l. 15).Physical description: 27 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red for headings and entries. Yāʼ for alif maqṣūrah ; final yāʼ dotted. Dark cream paper with laid lines and a few chain lines visible. Fol. 1 consists of a later leaf pasted on the recto of an original leaf. Fol. 87 is a later added fly-leaf (European paper with watermark). Title on tail of text block. Quotation from al-Suyūṭī on fol. 86b. Fol. 1 damaged, with loss of text ; stained with water.Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "--- 91(?)" (almost totally wanting). Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥ 467".Beginning as extant: على كثير ممن خلق تفضيلا ... اما بعد فان الله تعالى بلطيف حكمته وما اودعه فى ابداع العالم من عجايبصنعته وقدرته خلق الانسان مجبولا على الافتقارExplicit: وقال نستعني به علي صيانة جمالها ورونق ادبها وهنا انتهي الكتاب والحمد لله وحده وصلى الله علي سيدنا محمد وعلي اله زصحبه وسلم تسليما كثيرا الي يوم الدين ورضي الله عن اصحاب رسول الله اجمعين - Quarter bound in red leather and marbled paper (flower motif). Yellow paper pastedowns. - A treatise on marriage and sexual relations.
