Rubrication and catchwords; extensive marginal notes. Arabic prayers vocalized. Extensive water damage that has caused loss of paper around the margins, but text unaffected. Paper repairs to fol. 1-8, 356-360. Occasional smudging.Decoration: Text on fol. 1b-1a set within cloud bands on gold ground; entire text framed in blue, red and gold.Origin: Text completed on 1 Ramaḍān 1056 H [11 October 1646] (Āghā Buzurg gives the date of completion as 1055 H); this copy completed on 8 Shaʻbān 1083 H [29 November 1672] by Ibn Ḥājjī Shafīʻ Bāqir al-Khvānsārī in Dār al-Salṭanah Iṣfahān at the Madrasat Āqā-yi Āqā Ḥusayn (fol. 360a). - Full dark brown leather over pasted boards with red leather doublures; spine and edges repaired with light brown leather. Water damaged, with parts of the covers eaten away. - Persian translation of Miṣbāḥ al-Kafʻamī, a compendium of prayers in fifty fuṣūl; translated for Āqā Nīk Bakht. Additional prayer on fol. 360b.
