Written in medium small naskh in black ink with some use of red for rubrication. Text is written inside a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink. Fol. 1b has an illuminated head piece executed in gold leaf with orange, red and white watercolors. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed European paper. Foliation in black ink in Arabic numerals. Fol. i-ii are a table of contents in black and red ink, a later addition to the main ms. Substantial worm and some water damage to the paper, with many of the leaves stuck together.Incipit: الحمد لله الذى صلى بنفسه على النبى عليه اكمل الصلوة ... اما بعد حق سبحانه تعالى حضرتلرى نوع انسانى جمله دن مكرمExplicit: الله عظيم الشانكه جمله عالملرك موجودى ومربسى ومالك ومتصرفيدر تمت الكتاب بو كتابى يازنك ويزدرمسنه سبب ومالك اولانك واوقينك ... يا رب العالمين امين امين امين - Brown leather over pasteboard. Three gold fillets and a gold guilloche around the edges of covers. Obliod stamps with pendants, gilt and painted with red, in the centre of upper and lower covers. Pastedowns in light orange paper. Substantial worm damage to the binding. - A commentary on Jazūlī's Dalāʼil al-khayrāt, a collection of prayers for the Prophet, including those associated with the pilgrimage to the Prophet's tomb in Medina.
