Mildewed.Copy completed on Yawm al-thulathā 28 Jumādá al-Awwal 889 (colophon, fol. 187b).Incipit: قال العبد الفقير ... محمد بن حسن بن علي النواجى الشافعى ... اما بعد حمد الله الذي خلق الانسان فى احسن تقويم ... فقد سالني بعض الاخوان ان اجمع له نبذة فى الحسان من الغلمانExplicit: لو لم تكن روضة للحسن او فلكا ما كان جمع فيك الغصن والقمر لكان هذا ابلغ فى المعنا وحسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل - Dark brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower cover, fore-edge flap and envelope-flap. Both covers have an elaborate blind-tooled panel, with a central mandorla with two pendants on the vertical axis. Vertical fillets link the central mandorla to an outer frame made of fillets, with a s-shape running pattern and a small floral stamp in the corners. Paper pastedowns. - A collection of poems describing handsome youths.
