Text is written in two columns within a gold leaf frame outlined in black ink. Catchwords on the verso of each leaf. Glazed dark cream paper with visible laid lines.Incipit: بسمليله ايده لم فتح كلام فتح اوله تا بو معما ى بنامExplicit: اولمادن بيك يدى تاريحى تمام بو رسالمده تمام اولدى كلام - Marbled paper over pasteboard with envelope flap. Brown leather on spine, fore edge flap and on cover edges. Endleaves in green paper. - Hakanî Mehmet Bey's hilye, a poem in praise of the Prophet Muhammad, describing his personal appearance and character. The poem was composed in 1007 (1598-99) -- see end of text.
