Violet paper pastedowns. Binding contains pieces of a printed document entitled "Rules to be observed by the captain and crew" issued under the name of Ali Pacha, Grand Admiral of the Ottoman Empire. - A digest of Kitāb al-Irshād, the authorʼs own abridgment of Kitāb ʻUlūm al-ḥadīth.
