Gold-stamped mandorla with pendants and blind-tooled decorative edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Green and red paper pastedowns with floral design. Endbands. Repairs to binding in red leather. - A work on the wonders of creation, treating of precious stones and their properties, plants and fruits, the peculiarities of animals, the ocean and its wonders, the western sea which is called "the sea of darkness", and its wonders, the sea of China, an account of the famous rivers and their wonders, springs and their wonders, and mountains and the remains found in them.
