Rubrication and catchwords. Some damp staining, foxing, and paper repairs; fol. 1-2 are particularly damaged and there is some loss of text. Fol. 398 has been mounted on a newer sheet of paper.Origin: Copy completed 26 Ṣafar 1007 H [28 September 1598] (fol. 398a). - Half brown leather with blue leather covers. - Volume 2 of Rawz̤at al-ṣafā, containing the history of Muḥammad and the first four Caliphs; missing the first folio.
