Several ḥāshiyah on the margins and on smaller pieces of paper pasted between the folios (stops after fol. 37). Catchword on the verso of each leaf. Foliation in pencil using Western numerals.Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "[...?] awwal 52". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on fol. (i)b: "Ḥāʼ 1278".Copied by Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Muṣṭafá on 12 Shaʻbān 1114 (colophon, fol. 132b).Incipit: الحمد لله الذي جعل الشمس ضياءً والقمر نوراً وبسط على بساط البسيط ... وبعد فلا اقسم بمواقع النجوم ... [3ب] ... الحمد هو الثناء باللسان على الجميل لله علم للواجب الوجودExplicit: من دقايق الساعات على ما ذهب اليه التبانى كما لا يخفى على من له درية فى الحساب والله اسرع الحاسبين والحمد لله رب العالمين - Paper pasted on brown leather over pasteboards for upper and lower covers. Paper pastedowns. - Commentary on a work on astronomy by Maḥmūd ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻUmar al-Jighmīnī (d. after 1221) entitled al-Mulakhkhaṣ fī ʻilm al-hayʼah.
