Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red. From fol. 1b to fol. 100b, main text enclosed in gold leaf frame, dimensions 142 x 70 mm, and the haşiye is within a gold leaf frame, dimensions 182 x 100 mm. From fol. 101a to fol. 121a, both frames are in orange ink. From fol. 121b to fol. 125a all text inclosed within a single-line frame in orange ink, with ruled breaks within the page. Illuminated head-piece (ʻunwān) in gold leaf and orange ink on fol. 1b. Includes a haşiye written on the margins of the main text on ff. 1b-121b and continued as full-page text on ff. 122a-125a. The haşiye consists of glosses to the main text and excerpts from other works on the same subject, much of it by Tarikatçı Emir Efendi (e.g. from his Tabyīn al-marām, a commentary on Risālah fī Ḥaqq al-Bayʻ wa-al-Shirāʼ by Hamza Efendi), hadis, and fetvas of different authorship, including some by Ebussuud Efendi.
