Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. Light biscuit paper, glossy, with laid and chain lines visible. Laid lines visible on the surface. Fol. 229 apparently later addition, with several inscriptions. First and last folios damaged, with loss of text. Stained due to water damage.Origin: Copy ("tanmīq wa-taḥrīr wa-taswīd") completed on the day of ʻĪd al-Fiṭr 894 [Aug. 28, 1489] in Urmia (Ūrmiyá) in the Madrasah al-Jalālīyah by ʻAbd al-Karīm ibn ʻUthman ibn Uways (Awīs) ibn Abū Isḥāq ibn Muhammad al-Ānī(?) (colophon, fol. 228b, followed by one verse of poetry).Incipit: الحمد لله مطلق يتناول جمدا الله تع نفسه وارفع حمد ما كان من ارفع حام[--] واعرفهم بالمحمود واقدرهم على ايفاء حقه ... نحمده استيناف واظهار لتخصيص حمده لكن باستعانتهExplicit: مرات قيل سبع مرات كلام الراوى اى قال سبع مرات وقيل من كلام النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم و ---؟ التكثير كثر [---] تمت الحواشى التى علقها سلطان الحمققين وبرهان المدققين مولى الاعظم المرتضى الاكرم السيد الشريف [---] على قدس الله روحه زنوّر ضريحه على مشكوة المصابيح بتسير الله وتوفيقه وحسن نعامه و [---] - Crude binding of dark brown leather over paper pasteboards.
