Rubricated. Quire signatures on first and last pages of quires. A few passages are written by a different hand in black, including a short text in Arabic naskh script on fol. 169a. Extensive water damage, mainly marginal, has caused numerous pages to stick together; on some leaves the water entered the text area resulting in loss of text. Mostly complete with a few leaves missing at the beginning and end. - Full brown leather with paper pastedowns; ex libris of Robert Garrett on front inner cover. - Forms part of the Robert Garrett Collection (C0744). - Commentary on Genesis and Exodus in Garshuni (Arabic written in Syriac script) translated from Syriac; texts of Genesis and Exodus in Garshuni included.
