Notlar Written on glazed hand-laid chain-marked paper in a very fine hand.With three illuminated head-pieces.each page of text is contained in a gilt-ruled border, embellished with six miniatures, measuring approximately 3.5" x 3".An octavo in original glazed paper-covered boards; with spine of old calf, spine showing some wear.Numerous annotations, several in Turkish and Persian, which give examples of the grammar lessons through the quotation of poetry, song, etc.There are also several recordings of births, a common practice precious books, as there were no records of these events.very light mostly marginal staining on lower corners throughout, on very slightly affecting the text and two of miniatures. - boards.
