The headings are ornated with a small gold-stamped flower motif on a red or green ground outlined in red (see fol. 103b). Cream paper, hardly translucid, with laid and chain lines, and pulp visible. Quinions and quaternions.Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Tafsīr 111". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥ 569".Collation: Paper, fol. ii, 128 ; ii (free endpaper and later added fly-leaf) 1⁶ 2-8¹⁰ 9⁸ 10-12¹⁰ 13⁸ 14⁸ (-2 at end of quire) ii (later added fly-leaf and free endpaper).Origin: According to colophon, copy completed in 845 H. (fol. 127b).Incipit: الحمد لله الذى انزل على عبده الكتاب ولم يجعل له عوجا وبين فيه لاولى الالباب بينات وحججا ... وبعد فان كتاب الكشاف للشيخ العلامة احلّه الله من فضله دار المقامة قد طار حيث جلالة قدره كالامطار فى الاقطارExplicit: قوله بكل آية منها امانا اعتبر فى الامان متعدوا بحسب اجزاء الزمان وانما فة تم الكتاب - Bound in dark green cloth on pasteboards, with flap. Yellow paper pastedowns and free endpaper. - Beginning of a gloss on al-Kashshāf, the commentary on the Qurʼān by Maḥmūd ibn ʻUmar al-Taftazānī (d. 538/1144), comprising the text from the beginning to sūrat al-Baqarah (starts fol. 103b).

Kaynak Waqf statement in the name of Ḥusayn Pāshā [16th cent.], with seal (repeated on fol. 127b), endowing three books (Ḥāshiyat al-Kashf lil-Kashshāf from al-Fātiḥah to al-Maʻūdhatayn, in two vol.; Ḥāshiyat Saʻd al-Dīn lil-Kashshāf from al-Fātiḥah to the end of Āl ʻUmrān; Ḥāshiyat Shaykhzādah li-Bayḍāwī, from sūrat Tawbah to the end of sūrat al-Raʻd) for the Jāmiʻah [Lala Hüseyin Paşa Camii, built 1566-1568] built by him in Kūtāhiyah [North-Western Anatolia] (fol. 1a). Four ownership statements on fol. 1a, two in the name of the same Muḥammad ibn Pīr(?) Muḥammad Pāshā al-Jamālī [Mehmet bin Pir Mehmet Paşa], dated 919 H. [1513 or 4]; one in the name of Dāwud ibn ʻUbayd Allāh ; the last one in the name of Nūḥādīʹzādah, with seal reading: "al-Sayyid Aḥmad Nūrī, 1274 [1857 or 8]".
