Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (counts fly-leaves with inscriptions).Copy completed on 12 Shawwāl 878 (colophon, fol. 76b).Incipit text 1 (fol. 3b): احمد الله تعالي علي متواتر نعمآيه حمدا يملا طباق ارضه وسمآئه ... وبعد فان جماعة من المشتغلين ... قال الاسم المجرد عن الزوايد ... وعنق قلت بدأ بتبيين وزن الاسمExplicit text 1 (fol. 76b): لان المتلين في كلمة واحدة فاعرفهIncipit text 2 (fol. 77b): سبحان الحي الذى لا يموتExplicit text 2 (fol. 78b): فهذه حال الشهدا لا يموتون بل هم احيا فى قبورهم انتهى - Brown leather over pasteboards for upper and lower covers and envelope flap. Light green paper pasted on the covers, with an outer frame made of a blind-tooled and gold painted running pattern and gold painted single line. - Commentary on a treatise on grammar by Ibn Mālik (d. 672/1274). The text is followed on fol. 77a-78b by a short treatise by Jalāl al-Dīn al-Suyūṭī on the death of young children, apparently written by a later hand.
