Illuminated header in magenta, blue, green, gold, and white in foliar design. Ijāzah is presented within a large gold circle; phrases terminate in gilt discs. Surrounding the circle are four smaller circles containing the names of four shaykhs: Mīr Ḥusayn ibn ʻUthmān Pāshā, Muḥammad Rajab ibn Muṣṭafá, Muḥammad Ṭāhir ibn Ḥāfiẓ Adʹham, and Ḥāfiz Ismāʻīl Ḥaqqī ibn ʻAlī. Document is signed and stamped by 10 shaykhs. The author's stamp appears 6 times.Origin: Dated 1304 AH (1886 or 7). - A document appointing the succession to the Naqshabandīyah order to al-Shaykh Mīr Muḥammad Rāsim ibn Mīr Ibrāhīm Abīsh (?), followed by a list of the chain of shaykhs back to ʻAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib.
