Copied from an exemplar dated 1273.2. fol. 127a-182b: Lafẓ al-mustaghrab min Kitāb al-Muhadhdhab / taṣnīf Abī ʻAbd Allāh Muḥammad ibn ʻAlī ibn Abī ʻAlī al-Qalʻī al-Yamānī. A work divided into two primary sections. The first deals with the pronunciation of words related to uṣūl al-fiqh and other subjects of Islamic law, such as divorce. The second section deals with mistakes and fallacies about certain famous Muslims and their names. Text is undated but two notes appended to the end bear the date 601 H. Text is followed by nine pages of notations, a chart and an alphanumeric equivalency table.3. fol. 182a-194a: [Safar al-Shāfiʻī ilá Makkah]. A treatise consisting of various questions posed to al-Shāfiʻī and his responses. According to the first part of the text, these questions were addressed when al-Shāfiʻī was in Mecca. Leaf 193 (i.e. 194) contains several compartmentalized squares with numeric and alphanumeric notations. Incomplete at beginning.
