The author cites the chain of transmitters according to the Naqshabandīyah, Khalwatīyah, Aḥmadīyah, Shādhilīyah and Akbarīyah schools and enumerates twenty-three schools in all. The essay concludes with the names of the Seven Sleepers and the magical value of each of their names.
