Headings in red; several charts in red and/or black. Some marginal notes in red; Arabic quotations vocalized. Poetry on fol. 4a-11a in three columns, written in shikastah with red overlining. Layout for all pages is a gold frame divided into three columns, but main text crosses over column lines. First three leaves are detached. Mild dampstaining on last few leaves.Origin: Copy completed 1277 H. [1860 or 61] (fol. 102b).Incipit: الحمد لله الذي انزل الكتاب مشتملا على غرايب الخواص حروفه وكلماته ومحتويا على عجايب الأثار سوره وآياته ثم نبه بما اودع فيها من الأثار نبيه المختار ... - Limp binding in oblong or safinah format in brown leather with tooled fillets. - Treatise on the magical properties of the letters of the alphabet, the names of Allāh, and the verses and surahs of the Koran; consists of five maqālah. Volume also contains poetry, magical formulas, and instructions for a talisman.
