After the colophon there is a statement that the fourth volume was completed from the copy in the Khedivial Library, Cairo, though the three present volumes contain the whole work. It is stated in the preface that the author in composing his work depended on many commentaries, especially that of Ibn Faraḥ al-Qurṭubī, 671 [1272/3]. Volume 3 has label on spine.Collation: Paper ; fol. The first volume deals with Sūrahs I-VI, volume II deals with Sūrahs VII-XVIII:77, and volume III deals with Sūrahs XVIII:78 to the end.
