Opening spread frame-ruled in gold and blue-green (fol. 1b-2a).Origin: According to colophon copied Thursday 23 Rajab 1135 by Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad, known as al-Baḥr al-Mālikī (fol. 128a).Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم اخبرنا الشيخ الامام العالم الاوحد الحافظ ابو سعيد صلاح الدين خليل بن الامير المرحوم بدر الدين كيكلدى ... الحمد لله رب العالمين لارب سواه ... اما بعد فقد كثر من ايمة الحديث الاعلام فن القديم والحديث من الاعوام ...Colophon: قد منّ الله تعالى وانعم باتمام هذا الکتاب على يد العبد الفقير محمد بن محمد الشهير بالبحر المالکي غفر الله ذنوبه وملأ من الخير ذنوبه في صبيحة يوم الخميس الثالث والعشرين من شهر رجب الفرد سنة خمس وثلاثين وماية والف. والحمد لله. تم - Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in brown leather. Blind-stamped mandorla and blind-tooled decorative edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap.
