Text framed in blue, black and gold; rubrication in blue and gold. Catchwords. Some staining and water damage, particularly at beginning and end of ms. Otherwise in good condition.Decoration: On fol. 2b, well-executed illuminated ʻunwān in a floral pattern, mainly in gold and blue. Basmalah written in black in central lozenge with gold ground decorated with black foliar pattern. Circular illuminated ornament, partially smudged, on fol. 1a.Origin: Copy completed in the middle of Ramaḍān 946 H [January 1540] by Muḥammad Qāsim ibn Luqmān Jāmī (fol. 107b). - Lacquered binding consisting of a central mandorla, pendants, corner designs, and outer frame in black filled with gold floral pattern; remainder filled with black and gold floral pattern on brown background. Lacquered doublures consisting of central gold mandorla, pendants, and corner designs in gold pattern on dark green background; set within a red frame containing a gold floral pattern. In excellent condition.
