Abstract: Commentary on al-Bayḍawī's treatise on Kalām, followed by the commented text written by the same hand. | Binding note: Later type II (with flap) binding in dark-brown leather over paper pasteboards. Blind-tooled and gold-painted with a large central lobed mandorla with two pendants on the vertical axis and an outer frame consisting of fillets and a guilloche, with knot-work in the inner corners. Red-brown leather doublure with at its centre a filigree lobed mandorla with arabesque and floral work on a gilded ground, outlined in gold.
