Notlar	The letter concerns an incident which took place on board the Honourable Company's Ship Benares, committed by a crew member of the ship Udny. Captain Woodly writes to enclose a copy of an investigation made against John O'Heale of the Udny, in the wake of a charge made against him made by the Chief Officer of the Udny. Woodly requests Dow to take appropriate action against the man who 'threaten to take the lives of myself and officers.'
