Transcription finished ("qad waqaʻat istirāḥat al-qalam min taswīd hādhā al-kitāb...") in the latter part of Rabīʻ I 1174 H / October 1760. | Accompanying materials: Ottoman stamp tucked in between fol.96 and 97 (Western pagination). | Former shelfmark: British Museum, London "No. 151. Commentary on Tuhfat al-muluk." | Binding: Pasteboards covered in brown leather and worn marbled paper ; once Type II binding (with flap) though flap is now missing (leather burn staining from envelope flap on opening leaf) ; board linings in paper, hinges in lime green silk ; upper and lower covers carry traces of blind-stamped decoration (now obliterated) including central mandorla and cornerpiece, off-center as board was cut down to fit this text block (recycled covers) ; very worn and in poor condition ; repair to upper joint in green textile. | Support: European laid paper with 11 laid lines per cm.
