Notlar	This file contains miscellaneous correspondence consisting primarily of letters between the Political Resident in the Persian Gulf and the Political Agent in Muscat. The subject matter of the correspondence covers a range of subjects, most of them pertaining to the resolution of commercial and legal matters with the Secretary to the Government of India based in Bombay. Many letters also discuss the changing political situation in Oman, particularly the British discussions of support for the Sultan of Muscat.
