Hennell states that Aga Baba's state of health will not permit him to travel. Hennell concludes by reporting that Aga Baba has arranged for his wukeel [wakeel] to appear on his behalf.Translation of a letter, dated 4 January 1850, from Hennell to the Nuwabi Hajeea, in which Hennell writes that the estates in question belong to Mr Arrathoon Simon, a writer in his office. Hennell advises that the Nuwabi Hajeea appoint an agent to buy her cause in the law courts of Bushire, as Hennell cannot spare his writer's services. Hennell concludes by stating that Aga Baba has appointed his wukeel to appear in the law court of Shiraz on his behalf. | 3 folios | more | less
