Notlar	The letter relates to incidents of slave trading on the Persian coast. It contains a report of two vessels owned by inhabitants of Bushire which have been reported carrying male and female slaves. Of the first incident, Samuel Hennell reports that the boat owner maintained his innocence, and the offence of slave trading was not proven.
