Notlar	In this letter, William Henry Wathen, Chief Secretary to Government, Bombay, acknowledges receipt of a letter from the Acting Resident in the Persian Gulf, dated 4 August 1837, which contained a translation of a letter from the Imaum of Muscat who complains of aggressions committed by the subjects of Sheik Sultan bin Sugger [Sulṭān bin Saqr Āl Qāsimī] upon the inhabitants of Zanzibar.
