Notlar	Ephraim Gerrish Stannus, Resident in the Persian Gulf, Bushire, transmits a copy of a letter (not included) from Major Willock, which includes a translation of a royal firman addressed to the Governor General of Fars. Stannus states that it is not clear whether the firman, which prohibits the imposition of any new duties on horses or other property belonging to British subjects, has been authorised by the Persian Government.
