Ms. temp. no. 97 \| Binding: Boards covered in textured black cloth with black leather over spine (quarter binding) ; Western style binding ; pastedowns and flyleaves in wove paper printed with a floral vegetal pattern in pink and green ; spine gold-stamped with title and decorative accents over raised bands "التوحيد" ; sewn in white thread over three recessed cords, tightly bound ; overall in fairly good condition. \| Support: Machine laid paper and wove paper ; mainly a type with roughly 7 laid lines per cm. (vertical), chain lines spaced 26-28 mm. apart (horizontal) and watermark of words in Arabic script only partially visible (see p.28, 40, 42, etc.) and date (see pp.48 and 60, possibly 1313 [1895 or 6] or 1292 [1876 or 7), light beige in color, virtually unburnished ; another type (see pp.3-6, 13-16) with roughly 8 laid lines per cm.
