The correspondence is between representatives of the Bahrain Government, the Political Agency in Bahrain, and the Political Residency in the Persian Gulf at Bushire.The papers concern five separate incidents in 1933, 1934 and 1940, when boats and cargo were captured by the Persian authorities, who suspected smuggling was taking place.
