Notlar The letter is acknowledging the receipt of the commands of the Bombay Government, dated 3 March 1822 (No 377 of 1822), respecting the claims of Abdol Rahim Khan [‘Abd al-Raḥīm Khān]; the Resident is instructed to provide the Government with copies of all the correspondence that has guided his actions with respect to the affairs of the late Nebbe Khan [Muḥammad Nabī Khān]. This correspondence is enclosed, however copies have not been transcribed in this volume.The letter also includes certificates for James Dow and John Tow, that certify the time they have spent in charge at the Bushire Residency. | 2 folios | Condition: The item has suffered from pest damage, which has resulted in two small holes in the fabric of the folios that slightly obscure some of the body of the letter. | more | less
