Notlar The file consists of correspondence relating to a trust fund account held with Lloyds Bank Limited (Bombay) and, later, the Eastern Bank Limited for the Financial Adviser to the Government of Bahrain, Charles Dalrymple Belgrave. The majority of the correspondence is between the two banks, Belgrave, the Political Agent in Bahrain, and the Political Residency in the Persian Gulf.The papers consist of covering letters, receipts, accounts, and letters of acknowledgement connected to regular payments made into the account. Also included is correspondence concerning investment in loans and a discussion over what securities offer better value. The papers suggest that by July 1931 the account was transferred to the Eastern Bank. | 1 file (125 folios) | The file is arranged in chronological order from the front to the rear of the file. | Foliation: the main foliation sequence (used for referencing) commences at the front cover with 1, and terminates at the inside back cover with 127; these numbers are written in pencil, are circled, and are located in the top right corner of the recto side of each folio.
