Notlar The letter concerns events on the Arab coast, in anticipation of the arrival of the Wahhabi forces from Qatif. Kemball reports that he has travelled to Sharjah, and reports on the current situation, while many of the local chiefs have met with the Wahhabi forces at Brymee [al Buraimi]. Included with Kemball's letter is a translated extract from a letter from Hajee Yacoob, the British Agent at Sharjah, addressed to Kemball and dated 7 March 1853.
