Notlar	In this letter James Dow, Assistant Surgeon, temporarily in charge of the Residency, acknowledges the receipt of Robert Waite's letter of 6 December 1821 and states that, in compliance with Waite's request, he has given the subadam [subedar] who brought Waite's packet the sum of 10,000 New Persian rupees. Dow promises to send the same amount again on the next occasion, and states his intention to keep the remaining two sets of bills until he learns from Waite in which currency he should send the remaining amount. \| 1 folio \| more \| less
