Notlar	In this letter Ephraim Gerrish Stannus, Resident in the Persian Gulf, Bushire, acknowledges the receipt of Henry Willock's letter of 9 April 1824 and states that the dispatch to which that letter alluded was forwarded to Bombay by the John Adam.Stannus informs Willock that his two more recently received packets will be forwarded to Bombay, via the Discovery,on 20 May 1824. Stannus states that he has forwarded to Henry Willock three dispatches (two of which are addressed to Henry Willock's brother, Major George Willock) from William Newnham, Chief Secretary to the Government of Bombay.
