It includes a request that the Government of Bombay revise current practice and make the commanders of such vessels subject to the orders of the Resident upon their arrival at Bushire. \| 1 folio \| Condition: The item has suffered from pest damage, which has resulted in a large hole in the fabric of the item. As a result, some of the text within the body of the letter has been obscured and is difficult to read.
