Trade marks could be registered at the Agency, and infringements were prohibited under the Bahrain Order in Council, 1913. Correspondents were warned that should the Bahrain government in future introduce any legislation relating to the registration of labels, trade marks, etc, the applicant would have to abide by such legislation and would have to pay any fees that might be imposed on the registration. Includes letter from the Political Agent, Bahrain (Tom Hickinbotham), to the Resident in the Persian Gulf, Bushire (Charles Geoffrey Prior), dated 3 November 1943, summarising the position. \| 1 file (313 folios) \| The papers are arranged chronologically from the front to the rear of the file. \| Foliation: The foliation system in use appears in a circle in the top right-hand corner of each folio.
