Notlar This file contains correspondence between the Political Agent at Bahrain and the Political Resident in the Persian Gulf concerning the visit to the Persian Gulf of the Director of the Danish Biological Station, Dr H Blegvad. Dr Blegvad was visiting on behalf of the Persian Government, to inspect the pearl banks and check whether the waters were suitable for the Persian Government's proposals for the establishment of fisheries in the Gulf.The file also contains two maps:blueprint of 'Chart showing pearl banks along Arabian shore of the Persian Gulf, Between Ras Tanura and Dabai [Dubai]' (f 33);'Print of chart showing the pearl banks along Arabian shore of the Persian Gulf, North of Ras Tanurah, which is being given to Mr Blegvad' (f 37). | 1 file (51 folios) | The papers in the file are arranged chronologically. There are file notes at the end, on folios 49-52.
