Notlar The letter relates to an act of piracy committed by Humeed bin Mujdell of the Amaieer [‘Amayer] tribe, against a Kuwaiti vessel. The following enclosures are included with Kemball’s letter:1. Letter no.219 of 1854 (folios 6-7) from Kemball to Commodore George Robinson, Commanding Officer Persian Gulf Squadron, dated 10 June 1854. Kemball requests Robinson to assign one the squadron to investigate the incident, as well as providing details of previous acts of piracy committed by Humeed bin Mujdell. Enclosed with Kemball’s letter to Robinson is a statement (folios 8-9) made by Ali bin Furraj, nakhuda of the plundered vessel, describing the circumstances and plunder of his boat. | 5 folios | more | less
