Notlar	In response to information provided by Captain Goodbridge that the Shaikh of Umul Gwuyn [Umm al-Qaywayn, i.e. ‘Abdullāh bin Rāshid Āl Mu‘allā] will be visiting Charrack [Bandar-i Chārak], McLeod's letter instructs Faithfull to make enquiries about both places, as well as Sharga [Sharjah] with a view to ascertaining the reason for the Shaikh's visit. MacLeod encloses (not included) a letter on this subject for the shaikhs of Charrack and Umul Gwuyn, and Sultan bin Suggur [Sulṭān bin Ṣaqr Āl Qāsimī]. \| 1 folio \| more \| less
