Notlar	The letter describes in detail the movements of Major Gils and reports news of the preliminaries of peace between Great Britain and Spain and France.News - via the Bussora Resident LaTouche - of a recent engagement between the Chaub [the Banu Ka'b tribal confederacy] and some Bussora vessels is discussed. Numerous packets sent and received are also discussed.
