Notlar	Correspondence (in English and Arabic) exchanged between the Political Agent at Bahrain (Hugh Weightman) and the Ruler of Bahrain (Shaikh Ḥamad bin ‘Īsá Āl Khalīfah) dated 1939, relating to the latter’s agreement to provide a piece of land at the edge of Manama town for the construction of a Catholic church (folios 4-5).An additional item is also included in the file; a letter from Father Anselm of the [Sacred Heart] Catholic Church in Bahrain, to the Political Agent, dated 27 August 1947, complaining of vandalism committed against the church door and steps (folio 6). \| 1 file (7 folios) \| The file’s contents are arranged in approximate chronological order, from the earliest item at the front to the latest at the end.
