Notlar	The letter notes that the Resident has sent the HCC Teignmouthto Muscat in order to forward intelligence to Bombay and Fort William, Calcutta. It further explains that he has applied to Bombay for two cruizers, due to the operations of the Juwaseemee [Qāsimī] pirates and his communication issues with India. He also mentions that he is expecting the Persian Ambassador to Scind [Sindh] to arrive in Bushire with the Vakeels of Meer Gullum Ali Khan.
